I can't really say much for myself right now.
I'm probably the biggest Devart procrastinator around.
So I guess I'll just, I dunno, not make anymore promises of art in the future. Lurker account ftw!

Anyhoo, I went to Perth's first-ever SupaNova convention!
My friend from work (who went as Xemnas on the final day) convinced me to cosplay. I was tossing up between a Naruto ANBU costume or Motoko Kusanagi.
Needless to say, I went as Motoko.

And holy shit, I was pretty much crapping myself because I had only finished the costume on the day BEFORE the last day, and it was pretty revealing what with her purple leotard-like thing. I changed it a bit and wore pants instead of those lilac stay-ups that she's got. That day was freezing.

Gargh.

My friend from work, Kaneda, had also enlisted me in the cosplay competition afsc;naewli/tvfarg /.
Now, I've never been in one of those so I didn't know what would happen. Were there a panel of judges? Are there possibilities for winners, etc?
HOLY SHIT THERE WAS A WHOLE AUDIENCE FFFFFFFF--

Anyway, as nervous as I was, I did okay. The walrus-fleet was kept at bay.

The most surprising thing is, for my first-ever con and cosplay, I won runner-up for Best Costume.
